I’m Loukia — a director and photographer from Cyprus and Georgia, based in Berlin.

So far, my path in visual storytelling has been guided by tenderness, vulnerability, and belonging, and has taught me precious lessons about representing women and queer people with honesty and care.

Through my films and portraits, I explore intimacy, emotional truth, and the ways people allow themselves to be seen. My aim is not only to show a subject, but to guide the viewer toward recognising themselves and feeling connected.

Since I was young, I have used images to understand myself and the world around me. My curiosity continues to guide all the work I do.

I’m also the co-founder of undercurent, where we produce commercial films rooted in storytelling and human connection.
